The main event at the Simon Hook Memorial Meeting, at the Eastway Circuit on
Saturday the 1st March, is attracting a quality field. The Elite event is the first round of the new British Cycling National Circuit Race series, and some top riders have already entered. Top billing goes to former national road race champion and reigning Premier Calendar champion, John Tanner (Life Repair Team), who joins his teammate and CTT British Best All Rounder Kevin Dawson on the start line. Commonwealth Games medallist Huw Pritchard (Angliasport RT) is another top national rider supporting the event. Circuit race specialist Bryan Taylor (VC Londres) and James Taylor (City of Edinburgh) are two other names to watch. Liphook Cycles' Paul Pickup and former teammate Justin Hoy (Evans Cycles RT) join local elite riders Simon Gaywood (CC Luton), Team Milton Keynes pairing Aaron McCaffrey and James Flanagan and Richard Whitehorn (Glendene CC).The program includes a full program of races commencing at midday, with the
