May 26th: PNuT Keeps Nickname
After threatening to grow his hair (and lose the reason for his nickname) if he didn't record a PB for 25 miles this bank holiday weekend, Mark Arnold will still be hairless after taking over two minutes off his best in the Unity CC event on Monday.  Sidelined by a puncture in Api's event on Saturday, which perhaps had faster conditions, PNuT bounced back in style at Hatfield Peverel on the E72!

May 25th: Api Take ERRL Lead
With riders scoring points in both the Beccles and Redbridge road races, Api have opened up a 22-point lead in the Essex Road Race League after 10 events.  Chris Brooking was second at Beccles, an event he has won twice in the past, after narrowly failing to catch winner Mark Daly (Posh Bikes) in a chase with Andy Proffitt (Arctic RC) that resulted in the destruction of the break that had been away from half distance.  Geoff Frost was 4th.  In the Redbridge, in-form Brian Flemming (Tri & Run) was the inevitable winner, and Mick Gray continued his good run of form to take third place.

May 24th: Barker and Millard Make Hay
Sam Barker set what was the season's fastest 25, if only for 36 hours, and James Millard rode a 30mph 25 for the first time in his life, as riders were greeted with excellent conditions for Api's Open 25 on the new E2 course at Newmarket.  Zak Carr and Glenn Taylor cashed in too, riding their third fastest 25 ever on a substitute tandem that is over 50 years old!  Api took the team, and Sue Gray was the fastest woman with an excellent 58:40, to make sure that riders from other teams only went home with PB's!  Full results here.

May 19th: Post Office Fiasco Scuppers Api 25 Plans
Serious delays in the post saw several leading contenders for the National 25 have their entries returned, including Api's Zak Carr and James Millard.  The disappointment is especially bad for Millard, who lives only a few miles from the course, and was aiming to do a ride on his local roads.

May 10th: So Close for Carr
Zak Carr narrowly missed the £100 bonus for breaking the record for the tough E1 course in the Cresent Wheelers centenary event, as he lead ApiBikes.com to the team victory.  Carr's 53:19 was 8 seconds outside the existing best, on a day where riders had to battle a strong wind on the uphill return leg.  Sue Gray tooks the women's award.

April 5th: Taylor tightens grip on MG league
With only one more qualifying ride to complete, Glenn Taylor made it 3 wins out of 3 in the 2003 Medium Gear League by putting 6 minutes into the second-placed rider at the Lea Valley promotion on the E1.  Glenn's superior average speeds in his rides mean that even if another rider were to match his points tally, they'll have their work cut out to topple him from the top of the table.
